After receiving Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)’s approval to organize a Microfinance oriented Thrift bank, Microfinance
Maximum Savings Bank, Inc. was duly registered with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 21, 2005.
Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7906 and to Monetary Board Resolution No. 300 dated March 3, 2005, authority was granted on February
2006 to MAXBANK to start operating the bank subject to the applicable provisions of law and BSP rules and regulatiions. |

MAXBANK's head office is located at a newly constructed Oppax Building in Sabang, Puerto Galera Oriental Mindoro.
It was launched on April 21, 2006.
MAXBANK has plans to open 2 to 3 branches each year in the next 3 to 5 years of operation.
